Our Socioeconomic Programs
Women of Hope
This program empowers women through skills training and economic opportunities, enabling them to become self-sufficient and contribute to their families' welfare.
Impact:
Since its inception, Women of Hope has trained over 150 women in tailoring, crafts, and small business management, significantly improving their livelihoods.
Mission:
To provide skills training, mentoring, and spiritual support to vulnerable women, helping them achieve financial independence and strong faith in Christ.
Adult Literacy Class
Focusing on adults in disadvantaged communities, this program offers literacy training, improving participants' ability to read, write, and manage basic tasks essential for daily life.
Impact:
The literacy program has helped over 60 adults become more self-reliant, opening up opportunities for employment and community participation.
Mission:
To provide literacy education that enables adults to better manage their lives, contribute to their communities, and grow spiritually.
Masindi Canan Farm
Masindi Canan Farm is a large-scale agricultural initiative aimed at promoting food security and creating employment opportunities for the local community.
Impact:
The farm has provided employment to 120 people and supplies food to the local markets, contributing to community welfare and economic development.
Mission:
To utilize agricultural production as a means to enhance community wellbeing, provide food security, and offer employment to marginalized individuals.
Vocational Skills Training
Mercy House provides vocational skills training in various trades, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work, equipping young people with practical skills for employment.
Impact:
Over 200 young men and women have completed vocational training, securing jobs in construction, carpentry, and other trades, lifting themselves out of poverty.
Mission:
To provide practical skills training that equips young people with employable skills, reducing poverty and enhancing self-reliance.
